Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
My husband and I own a house in India. My father in law is renting this house out to an elderly couple. Since we have not given my father in law power of attorney, is it still valid for him to sign the rental lease document when renting out this property?

Dear Madam,
No. Your father-in-law has no authority to give your house on leave and license to another party without your consent.
