Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
My landlord is asking for 2 months time against the 1 month prior notice (as per the rental agreement) I have given to vacate the building. In this case what all are the possible ways for me to show against him to get my money back on time? Please guide me through this as law stands in my side.
Thank you for an early response.

Dear Sir / Madam,
The Owner is bound to return back your Security Deposit at the expiry of one month's notice to vacate the premises. A Police complaint is advisable and recommended if the Owner fails to repay the Security Deposit at the time of vacating the premises.
