Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I am owner of my residential house, tenant has given advance of Rs2000 (one month) on 10/june/2011 and I increased rent to Rs2200( an extra amount of Rs200) on 10/setember/2012. But now on 10/may/2013 tenant wants to vacant the room , so I asked tenant to pay me Rs 200 as now rent increased but tenant says he won�t pay me Rs 200 because when he says paid Rs200 as advance at the time he entered in to our house though the rent now increased by Rs 200 , it is not required to give to owner
Is it true that my tenant not required to pay extra amount of Rs 200 at the time when he vacant

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since the rent was increased by Rs. 200/- on 10.09.2012, the tenant has to pay you Rs. 2,200/- each month from 10.09.2012 till 10.05.2013 when he / she vacated the house.

He is required to give you the increase of Rs. 200/-.
