Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I rented an appartment last year 1st May. Entered into a rental agreement valid fr 11months. we mutually agreed upon a rent hike of 10% for the next term on renewal of agreement. now the owner suddenly is asking for a 33% hike in rent or to vacate the house immediately as she has better offer. Can I get any legal help, or she can lawfully force me to leave the house

after the expiry of the lease period she may ask you to vacate the premises.

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes. If you have renewed the lease, the Licensor (Owner) can terminate the contract by giving the other party the notice to vacate the premises. So, if as per the Agreement for Leave and License (ALL), the notice period is 30 days, you will have to vacate the premises at the end of the 30 days.
