Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
Sir, my son in law had taken a house on rent for two years on leave and licence basis. He filed divorce suite against my daughter and left the house. Now my daughter and her two minor daughters are staying in that house for which he had been paying the rent till now. Now the agreement is ending on 31st July,2023. My son in law is not interested in renewing the lease. I need your advice as what will be her position from 1st August when the lease expires? Will she be just thrown out of the house with her minor daughters?
