Dear Sir / Madam,
Registration of an Agreement for Leave and License (ALL) of less than a year's duration is optional. An ALL exceeding a year's duration has to be compulsorily stamped and registered.
Regards,
If it has a termination clause at will i.e. that any party may terminate the license by giving notice to the other party within XXX month/days then it need not require registration vide 2000(1)198 at page 203 Sengappa VsArumbatha... You may drop in a detailed query at [email protected]
