Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
I am staying in pagdi system building since 1983 in mumbai. we (me, my brother , my dad and mom)used to stay with our grandfather and grandmother and till date we are residing in the same house.my grandfather died in 1998 and grandmother died in 2008 .My grandmother have left behind a Will nominating the transfer of the tenancy rights in the name of your father.
The owner is recconstuction the building, do we have to pay him for ownership of that place.
