Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
If the tenant has stayed for 7 years in a flat and the walls of the flat have become dirty and needs painting, whose responsibility is it to repaint the flat, the owners or the tenants?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Usually, any repair or maintenance work inside the flat remains the Licensee's responsibility, and not of the Owner of the flat, unless it has been specifically agreed otherwise.
