Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in India
After vacating a residential property, is there any time limit within which security deposit should be claimed by the tenant after which period it becomes time barred or can it be claimed any time even after three years of vacation of property.

No time limit. But if there is inordinate delay then u hv to present convincing reasons to the court in demanding return of security deposit,.
