Legal Question in Legal Ethics in India
I have placed orders for ready made garments through a agent ( not registerd agent or sourcing company) it was his reponbility to take care of production and delivery in proper time but now as the orders are delayed because of his irresponsible behavior , he is not taking any responsibility and trying to escape without solving the problem . There was no contract between us but I have emails as the proof of him working as a agent/ middleman and took responsibility of the delay quality and other thing. Because of his mistakes and false commitment i am facing huge losses in my startup business. Do you think that without contract we will be able to take legal action against him and would be able to prove our point.

emails do constitute contract. you certainly can take action for breach of contract and damages accordingly

Dear Sir / Madam,
NO, in the absence of a specific Agreement / contract, your attempt to take legal recourse would prove futile.
