Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in India

Dear Attorney

Greetings!

On 14.07.2014 I admited my wife in maternity hospital for delivery. As the gynocologist overthere was lady, and staff was full of nurses, we assumed delivery would be done only by female staff.

Bt in the labour room as i saw there was 5 males n around 2 or 3 females, I requested to lady gynocologist to accompany my wife which she allowed me.

Delivery operated well, n then later on i asked to doctor about male staff presented in the labor room, she said all are doctors, there may be need of anesthesia, so they are team.

While injecting anesthesia in back they uncovered whole lower body part of my wife and all the cleanliness is done by the so called male doctors.

Am not comfertable with the incident so kindly suggest me is there any provision to sue them, as it seems unexpected.

Kindly a right path to me.

No, you can't sue them. This is permitted under medical law.
