Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in India
We are expecting a baby and we are going for stem cell banking in which stem cells from umbilical cord are preserved to cope with future major diseases. This service of preservation is provided by an organisation called Life Cell at a cost wherein they will collect and preserve the stem cells at their location and provide when required. They will provide us with the certificate. My query is what other documentation should we insist and also what accreditations of organisations should we look at?
1 Answer from Attorneys
ask them to show their registration documents and agreement if any check on the claims they are making . The forms and agreements must be with the organisation and they will take your signatures on it read the documents carefully and see the fine print too for any clause that might help them in the long run.
