There is no time limit to see a doctor, though certainly the sooner the better, as delay arguably implies that you could not have been severely injured. There is also a statute of limitations which sets a limit on how long you may wait before filing suit for personal injuries - every state is different, though, so see a local attorney for information about the laws in your state.

Best wishes,

Scott

In Florida you must see a doctor within 15 days to be able to collect no fault benefits.

The statute of limitations to file a suit in NC is 3 years so if seeing a doctor is necessary to your case, you'd need to do that prior to the 3 years expiring. However, as the other attorney said, the sooner the better.

The reality is that - the longer you wait - the more damage you do to your own case. If you're in pain go seek medical attention because its the right thing for your health. Then, go see a local personal injury lawyer.
