can i sue someone in UK if I am in Dubai, for endangering my life with equipment that was unsafe whilst I did an event in South Africa supplied by one of his manufactuered

You can sue any person for having supplied you defective Goods, etc. The place of filing the Suit would depend upon the place of execution of the Contract and also as per the terms and conditions of the Contract. There are also other jurisdictional factors to be considered.
