we had 7 acre of land and wanted to sell, we found one party willing to buy and orally we gave our word for 51 lakh provided agreement order in place. THe party using force way to get us sign on agreement which is not acceptable and threatening us. we havent taken any money expect 1 lakh as token and neither signed on agreement. pls help me out

Dear Sir / Madam,
Taking a token is confirmation of your acceptance of the deal and agreement to sell the property. You should request the prospective buyer that you do not wish to proceed with the sale and return back the token amount you have taken.

As long as there is mutual agreement on all the terms, one can not force other to sign any document.
