Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Need your advise Please. I have recently shifted to my own apartment. The apartment consists of 72 owners. Out of 72 owners, only 27 owners have deposited the life time maintenance. The builder has deposited the Life time maintenance in a Bank account on Fixed deposit and is using the interest money to pay for the common expenses since the society is not handed over to the owners. The Builder is behaving very arbitrarily and spending the FD interest money lavishly. We have reached a situation where the interest money is spent and there are bills which are not paid. He is demanding the money from us. Please advise what our legal rights in this case will be.

you can confront the builder and ask him for the accounts regarding the maintenance money spent.you can demand that he hand over the society to the residents and you can form a RWA and get yourself registered.
