anand asked sir.i had purchased a house (50yard) in najafgarh delhi in feb 2013.at amount of 2250000(45000=1 yard).but sir at that time the actual price was around 35000=1 yard..the dealer had conned me .so sir my question is that can i file a police case against dealer or not .i had advance payment receipt which indicate the price.area of house etc. and power of attorny (((but in power of attorny the dealer had written less price of the house)))

On document, the circle rate is quoted. I don't think there would be benefit now in lodging a police complaint. You may cancel the deal if that is provided in agreement.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You should have first verified the prevailing market price of houses in the locality yourself, before finalizing the purchase price of your house. It is wrong to blame the broker if you had not done your homework.

If facts and circumstances disclose commission of an offence, one may approach police or court, depending on several things.
