Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

how ancestral properties (agricultural land) belong to 3 brothers be partitioned amongst them without going in for registration? This is to avoid in the future, one of the brother's son claiming undue advantage of the entire property in the event of eventuality. all brothers are alive - one brother has only one child and other two do not have children.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Registration of any property - be it ancestral or self acquired is a must. Partitioning the property only after registration is advisable and recommended.
