Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I have booked an apartment by paying some initial amount. But after few weeks i have found better community with less cost. I wanted buy that property. The builder is charging Rs:50,000/- for Cancellation charges for which i have booked. Is it Legal to charge that much amount for cancelling any booked appartment?.. Can we challenge the Builder in the court on the same.

You can always challenge but it not advisable.its is breach of contract on your side and court may order to compensate.it will take years to fight the case and the advocates fees and legal charges will be another burden to you.
