Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I booked a flat and paid 20% of the cost and singed up the agreement, But as the Project was not moving ahead, therefore I cancelled the booking and surrender all my agreement documents and the builder gave me 2 post dated cheques but when I deposited the cheques in bank both recently both of them bounced/dishonoured.
Can you please suggest what I should do now to get my money back.
I am a NRI and staying abroad.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You are required to file a legal suit for "cheque bouncing" under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, within 30 days of receipt of intimation from your bank that the cheque(s) have bounced.
