Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I had bought a plot measuring 100 sq.yard in new delhi 10 years ago. I am in possession of the land upon which I have built my home and in which I am living for 10 years. This 100 square yard plot is attached to another 100 square yard plot which is mine . My home is built on this complete piece of land which is total 200 square yard. I had paid most of the money. But an amount of Rs. 20000 was to be paid. I have all the receipts of the payment. Now , the seller says that he had sold the land to some other person. I do not have the General Power of Attorney (GPA). I have the legal agreement to sell but without any stamp. It is signed by both the parties.

How good is my title to the 100 square yard plot?

What legal remedies do I have?

The agreement and receipt of payment against this plot will give you a good chance to challenge any sale subsequently made. You should be quick to file a suit for injunction.
