Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

i have bought textile in solapur industrial area for 8 lakh rupees 10years ago and i have paid all the money at that time to the previous owner .My name is registered in MIDC(industrial corporation),i have my own electricity meter and all the remaining local taxes and documents r registered on my name but don't have deed of assignment document.The previous owner is asking me 10lakh rupees to sign it on that document.

Dear Sir / Madam,

When your name is registered as the owner in MIDC and all local tax receipts are in your name, you are the owner of the property. There is no need for you to get the deed of assignment signed by the previous owner.
