Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Our builder had committed position by Jan 2013 and now it's July and even now it looks difficult to move in for another 1-2 months. They have also changed brands of amenities which were mentioned in construction agreement such as lift brand, tiles, generator, sanitary items to unbranded items. That too without notice.
They had also mentioned about compensation in agreement for delay in position but they are simply denying it and say they are not gonna pay any compensation.
What do you advice we can do.. without causing any further delay in completion. Please suggest.

Delay in delivery of possession is deficiency for which consumer forum can be approached. Changing the brands without intimating the clients is also deficiency. They are also liable for penalty for delay. Where r u located?
