Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi, My Dad and me are joint owners of a property. The registration has been done in both our names and the agreement specifies likewise.
We want to sell the property and divide the amount it is sold for.
My Dad is currently abroad and may not be able to come down to India if the property sells in the next few weeks.
Can my Dad give Power of Attorney in my Mom's name to stand in for him during the selling procedure?
A lawyer wrongly made documentation that both me and my Dad are giving power to my Mom which is not what we wanted.
