Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Dear Sir,
I am an NRI and own a flat in India jointly with my mother who is in India .
The builder has now decided to form society .
My mother want me to come and sign the society registration papers which I cannot do as I cannot take leave and it is not possible to give the Power of Attorney to anyone who can do the work on my behalf.
Please let me know what are the implications if my flat is not registered in society as they say 60% registration for the society formation is done. Are my rights compromised?
Can I Register the flat in the society once I am there in India during the my annual leave.
Please help and assist
