Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Dear sir/madam,

My name is Abhay Shukla and I'm from Delhi. I request you to advice me on my dispute with one of the builder M/s Mahagun Real Estate Ltd. based on Delhi/ NCR. I booked a 3 bhk flat in an under construction property in Ghaziabad at NH24 in last month. The booking amount I paid through cheque was approximately 3.16 lacs and no agreement is made till date. Now due to some urgent financial needs in my family, I want to cancel my booking as I need immediate money. In the booking booklet, it was written that "Token amount will be forfeited in case of booking cancelation".

I have written an email request to them for cancelation within 7 days and their response is still awaited.

Can you please advise me what should I do in this situation.
