Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

The earlier owner of my flat has done a correction deed to change the flat number from 103 to 1102. He has done a registered correction deed and I also have a copy of the same. Then we have executed a fresh agreement between the builder and myself for flat number 103. I have following two questions regarding the same:

a) Is this a valid transaction?

b) Should I insist on having cancellation deed done between the builder and the earlier owner of the flat with whom the correction deed has been executed?
