Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
my father had bought a 160 sq yards plot in lalaguda area of secunderabad area during 1973 on a notary document and built an house in it. the plot was not registered. we are paying tax of our property since 6 years. now my father want to distribute said plot between his 2 sons. so please advise whether the plot should be registered on my father:s name before being distributed among his two sons or directly he can get it registered on the name of his two sons?

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, getting the title of the land registered in your father's name before getting the title transferred to anybody else, is recommended.
