Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My father built a house on Agricultural land 16 years ago in Dharwad karnataka. He had purchased it 25 years ago and has a copy of the sale on bond paper. But its a lease document. He has been paying taxes to municipal corporation and has a khata number and property ID.

In fact many of the people in our area have built houses on agricultural land and now its a fully residential area.

But RTC still shows the name of a farmer who sold land to us. Now what can we do get it converted to NA and in our name.

I just want to know what can we do to show that we are the owners of the land as well as house.

U say the lease agreement. Then u cannot be the owner.
