my father died in 2004 and after that our huf accounts was never maintained or carried forward the eldest lives in america and also become the citizen of usa the middle one stay in jaipur and there are two unmarried sisters in this case . does the huf continues ? we have three immovable property under huf which was made by my father only now how to go ahead with the property we all want to have our share. kindly reply rajesh jain

Dear Rajesh,
The HUF ceases to exist on the death of the karta. If there is no Will left behind by your father, all legal heirs have an equal share in his property.
