Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Father died. He had 2 lands in his name, one land was recently converted from agricultural to residential, but not registered (no khaata)
second land with house also in fathers name. He left behind 2 sons and wife, now how to sell both the proprties? No will is there... what document other than death certificate required

Dear Sir / Madam,
Since your father has not left behind a Will, the properties vest in your mother. You should obtain a Succession Certificate naming the legal heirs and as owners and thereafter sell it.
