Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My father who is the owner of the flat that we live in died unexpectedly. We now want to transfer the ownership of the flat to my mother but the society is creating problems. My father could not make a will. Kindly let me know what we can do to get the flat transferred to her name? We are 3 siblings, 2 sisters who are married and myself.

First obtain the legal heir certificate from Tehsildar of your area. Then get the transfer deed registered in sub registrar office. No role to play for society.
