Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

My father purchased an apartment in Mumbai in 2003 and added my name as a joint owner though he had paid the full consideration. He now wants to transfer the apartment in my name. What would be the best method - a will, a gift deed or a deed of relinquishment ? Please advise.

Best would be Gift Deed.
