I have a flat which was jointly held by my husband and me. I have two minor children. My husband passed away and I want to sell it what is the procedure in India, specifically Kolkata.

Dear Madam,

You should complete the prevailing formalities for transfer of the title of the flat in your name and thereafter you may sell it.
