A friend of mine has lost the original sale deed copy(copy with original franking stamps) of a property and now finding difficult to sell the property. kindly guide in absence of original sale deed what other eqivalent document can be produced to sell the property.

Your friend can apply to the Tehsildar / Registrar to provide a certified true copy of the registered Sale Deed.
