i want to give my flat on leave and license but the society is asking a chunk amount from me interest free, telling me that you will have to pay a nuciense value till my tenant occupies the flat.

Dear Sir / Madam,

If your Licensee is an animal lover and has pets, it is quite possible that the pet(s) kept by the Licensee in your flat may be littering around the Society compound, for which the Society may be insisting on you maintaining an interest free security deposit of Rs. 5,000/- with the Society, till the Licensee resides in the Society.
