Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Good Day. I am planning to buy a piece of land where the party who sells it is asking for full payment through cheque/Online payment before the registration is done (I mean full settlement before 2 days of registration). In case of DD we can hand it over on the day of registration. In turn he has agreed to handover a receipt stating the amount he had received towards the purpose with the land owner signing that on top a revenue stamp. Is this receipt legally valid in case of any problems ?

Its legally valid but don't take such risk. Pay the amount at the time of registration only.
