Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Does a grandchild ( female, unmarried)have a right on the earned property of her paternal grandfather ,while the father and uncles are alive? My cousin has made such a claim in the court. Want to know whether this has any legal foundation .

not if the property is self acquired.

If the property is self acquired then no claim ,it can be given to anyone by the owner of the property she can claim if the property is ancestral.
