Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi, Actually my grandfather had two children, Son(My Dad)and Daughter(my Aunt). My aunt was married approximately in the year 1967 or 1970. And my dad was married in the year 1980. My aunt expired in the year 1981 leaving behind 2 sons. And my dad expired in year 2013. Now the Ancestral property which was in my grandfathers name was transferred to my dad and then to my mom. My question is, are my aunt's sons are entitled for the Ancestral property which is now in my mom's name?

Dear Sir / Madam,
If your grandfather has duly stamped, transferred and registered the title of the property in the name of your deceased father in the record of the Tehsildar / District Registrar, and if your father thereafter has also duly stamped, transferred and registered the title of the property in the name of your mother in the record of the Tehsildar / District Registrar, your cousin brothers (aunt's sons) are not entitled to any share thereof.
Regards,
