Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
My Grandmother signed a written testimony (stamped by solicitor and notary) handing over the ownership of her house in Surat Gujurat to my father, but it was not updated in land records. Does my father have any right to the house? on land records it shows as still in grandmothers name? there are 3 daughters and 2 sons in total.

if you have the written testimony, it needs to be seen whether it is a gift deed, will, sale deed or a power of attorney. After that the legal remedy would be suggested.
