Hello,
I had booked an under construction property in 2012 and till date have paid close to 85 percent of the money. The bldg is also almost 80 percent completed. However, recently I heard from the local agents/their x employees that the builder has done fraud with some flats being sold to more than one customer. When we talked to the builder, he does not say anything about this. My question is can a builder register same property to 2 different sellers? Is there a way to find out, if our property has been registered to someone else or not? PS: we have not registered this property yet. All we have is an allotment letter. How should we move ahead with this situation.

when u book flat builder give u flat number?
u take payment receipt with flat number?
any agreement between u and builder about purchase this flat?
any letter give u builder for booking flat?
u search at sub-registrar office for that.
