Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hello,
My husband and I are staying in a building with many unsold flats, and now the builder is using them for storage and renting some of them out, which is causing us a lot of inconvenience.
Is a builder allowed to rent those unsold flats out or used them for storage??
Thank you in advance for your help

Dear Madam,
The builder being the owner of the unsold flats is entitled to lease them out and use them for storage. I suggest that if you are being inconvenienced by the builder's approach, you should broker for the sale of the remaining unsold flats in the building to minimize the inconvenience, as well as earn brokerage / commission in the bargain.
Regards,
