Does Hiba Nama attract Stamp Duty. I have a property in India i want to give it to my borther . So will we have to pay stamp DUTY as we woul be doing HIBA nama uder the Muslim Law

Hiba Nama (or Gift Deed) requires the same amount of stamp duty as that of a sale deed on the value of the property subject to minimum of circle rate prevailing for that area.
