Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi,

I and my current roommate are renting a flat together. The security deposit is being paid by both of us half of the amount each.So if the rent agreement is being made by both of our names as Licensees;my roommate works in the bank so if she needs to submit it in the bank will it be approved with both our names as Licensees and will the bank pay half the amount?
