Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
Hi,
I have purchased an apartment in a Co-operative Housing Society and have submitted to The Secretary all forms, documents, transfer fees and premium as prescribed in model by-laws of co-operative housing societies, with a request to transfer the sais apartment in my name.
However, I have been informed that I have to pay INR 5,000 for scrutiny of the documents by Legal Counsel of the society.
To my mine these charges should be borne by the society as I have paid all transfer fees as well as premium as prescribed under model by-laws.
Can some please advise whether my understanding is correct and will I be right in refusing pay the fees if Legal Counsel of Society ?
Thanks.

Your view is right but why make a issue of small problem. give the 5000 and finish the issue.
