Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi,

My father bought a land 10 years before and trying to sale the same.

The problem is mother deed of that land is missing. we approached many times to the previous land owner regarding the mother deed but he informs that the mother deed is missing.

Due to this we are unable to sale the land.

We do have EC for 15 years.

Please help me in this regard. How to proceed further to sale our land.

Dear Sir / Madam,

You should apply to the local Tehsildar's office for certified duplicate copies of the title deeds in your name. Thereafter, vide an Agreement for Sale you can go ahead with the sale of the land.
