Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

Hi,

There is agricultural land on my fathers name. we know the name of village but dont know other details like survey number, actual site, boundaries and all. My father is no more. How should I proceed in getting the details of land and let me know the process to change it on my name.

Dear Kiran,

You can get the complete details of the land and certified copies of all the property documents by paying a nominal fee to the Tehsildar / District Registrar in whose jurisdiction the property is located.
