The question is whether there is any objection by anyone. The problem is the purchaser may demand the documents of the property. Generally, if you are residing their for 40 years, you tend to get the property.

Dear Sir / Madam,
You can only sell a property provided the title of ownership of that property is in your name. If your grandfather has left behind his Will, the beneficiary named in his Will is entitled to the title of the property vide a Probate from the Court. In the absence of his Will, the title of the property vests in your grandmother.
