Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India
I have a House in a busy area, which my father inherited from his father. Now I want to sell this house to purchase a new house. This is because the earlier location is quite busy and commercial & want to purchase a house in a more residential area. I am a hindu & I have 2 sons. One is a major and the other is a minor. I would require the entire amount and little more to buy the new house. Can I take this decision as the Kartha.. Please advise a way to move forward. The buyer wants to make my both sons the vendors
Request you for your advice..
Warm regards,
Sridhar

Dear Sir / Madam,
Yes, you can sign as the Karta, if the house is in the name of your HUF - Hindu Undivided Family. If you are getting your price, I see no reason why you should not satisfy the buyer's condition to get the signatures of your sons too on the Agreement for Sale of the house.
