Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

We have a house in south Mumbai... It was on my mothers name but after her death ...,me ,my younger brother and my younger sister have a share in it... My younger brother thinks if he pays the maintenance of the house then it will be his property in future... Is it so that if a person pays the maintenance amount.. He becomes the owner...???
